Course is an out and back on the railroad trail (packed gravel), about a
mile of road, and the scenic trails of Whatcom Falls park, no big hills (though
this course is by no means flat). A successful marathoner will complete the
course twice. There will be an aid station at the start, which you will come by
several times, with Gatorade and water and some other snacks. You will be
responsible for your aid other than that so plan accordingly. There are
restrooms at the start (courtesy of Haggen’s and Starbucks) and there is a
restroom in Whatcom Falls park that you will go by four times.
