Why did you decide to become a Maniac? Or what inspired you?
My friend, Renee. I remember meeting her at a Team in Training Session. I had already done a full & was signed up to mentor. She signed up to do her first full that year & we ran the San Diego Rock N Roll together in 2007. Since then she continues to run marathons & encourages me to keep going and keep training when I feel like I’d rather sleep in on Saturday mornings. Last year she became a marathon maniac despite injuries.
