My Grandfather, just to have an opportunity to talk with him one more time.

What was you most memorable marathon and why? I would have to list two:

2004 Cascade Crest 100 time = 21:10– I finished second overall, under the

previous course record and my family actually came to the race (although

they missed my finishing, arriving after I had already crossed the finish line.)

The other most memorable run would be 2005 Western States 100 (20:08).

I took over an hour off my previous best time for 100 miles and finished

27th overall in a very competitive race.  Reaching the Green Gate aid station

while it was still day-light was incredible for me.

If someone asked you to pick a race for him or her that they could run a PR at, which race would you suggest?
