I’m not a runner. I must be filling out the wrong questionnaire…

Why did you decide to become a Maniac? Or what inspired you?

All the great gear…oh wait, there WAS NO gear when I started…

Of all the races out there in this world, which one would you most like to run?

All of them…at least once.

If you could run a marathon / ultra accompanied by anyone either living or deceased, who would you choose and why?

Still Billy Bob, but Annie-Mail is a VERY close second. I think it must be the Kool cigarettes and Maniac Everclear.

What was you most memorable marathon and why?

They are truly all a blur now…so I guess it’s always the last one I did…today that would be Blanchard Mt. Ultra…Yes, I will kill Bill and my quads will never be the same.

If someone asked you to pick a race for him or her that they could run a PR at, which race would you suggest?

I would suggest they come to their senses and try for a PW instead. ;)

What was the furthest you’ve ever traveled for a race?

I think I traveled for 30 years to get to that first marathon…the rest seem so close.

Do any of your non-running friends or family members thing that you’re crazy for running as much as you do? What are some of their comments to you?

Hmm, I guess they must since they call me “Crazy Running Diana” but their comments I should keep to myself since most every one would make the speaker look like a complete do-do head to us Maniacs. Duh….just how far it THAT marathon going to be?

If personal obligations or finances were not an issue, how many marathons would you run in one year?

Zero. Yep, zero. But since I have personal obligations to the Maniacs…I HAVE to keep going. If I had a personal jet, let’s say in Maniac Yellow, that would sure help me to up the numbers though.

From what race did you receive your favorite finishers medal?

Finishers medal? What’s that?

Where do you keep your finisher medals?

Do you wear your race t-shirts? What do you do with the ones you don’t wear?

Hmmmm….these must come with the finisher’s medals?

If you could put on a marathon anywhere in the world, where would you have it?

At my house so I wouldn’t have to drive anywhere.

Never say never…it ALWAYS comes back to haunt you.

What was the most challenging race or combination of races you’ve ever done and why?

They are all challenging in SOME way and if they aren’t then I will make them challenging.

What is a typical training week like for you? How many miles do you run? Any cross training?

None. Zero. Run? I don’t run…

Well, see above, but if I DID have a training partner it would be PoSSuM, or maybe I should ask Billy Bob if he’s free? Oh wait….get Angelina on the line…

What are your short-term running goals?

Well, I guess to drive down to Lk Youngs tomorrow without getting a speeding ticket.

What are your long-term running goals?

To bike to Mary’s Birthday Marathon next weekend without falling off my bike.

Assuming you have time, what do you do for fun other than run marathons?

Oh….I’m not allowed put those things in writing….well, except maybe the knife throwing hobby?
