) is going to give awards to the 3 most Maniacal Men and Women at the
end of the year whom have completed the most marathons/ultras in one calendar year.
Q. How does one get a “Maniac of the Year” Award?
A. To be eligible for these awards you must have been a member
since at least April 1st of the year and you must enter your marathons on your personal page. Three awards are presented to the three female and male members whom have completed the highest amount of races in one calendar year. Your list of marathons must be updated in a timely manner to be eligible. Other eligibility requirements include being a good ambassador of the Marathon Maniacs and in good standing (DUES RENEWAL). Main Maniac reserves the right to discount races that in his opinion would not qualify as an “official” race. The final ruling on this matter will be made by the Maniac Board of Directors and is non-negotiable (so contact the Maniacs at least one month prior to ensure that the race will count towards the MOY Award). In addition, if you have refused a Maniac of the Year Award in the past, you are exempt from ever receiving another one. (These awards are NOT CHEAP!)
